Washington's Commander-In-Chief Flags
Our Washington's Commander-in-Chief Flags are constructed of durable nylon fabric for long-lasting color outdoors. Finished with a heavy-duty canvas heading, solid brass grommets, and four rows of reinforced stitching on the fly end, our flags withstand the most extreme weather conditions. Made in U.S.A.
This flag was flown by General Washington during his winter encampment at Valley Forge. General Washington had a personal protection guard (called the "Life Guard"), which consisted of a few handpicked men from each colony. They proudly carried these colors. They may be the origin of the field of stars in today's American flag.
