Takida "Numbers (Red vinyl)" 12"

tAKiDA, one of Sweden’s most successful current rock bands, continues their impressive success story with their new studio album, Numbers.

Set for release on January 8, 2027, via Napalm Records, the album follows their 2024 release The Agony Flame, which marked the band’s highest-ever position on the German album charts at #8. Since forming in 1999, the Swedish rockers have established themselves at the forefront of their home country’s rock scene with seven platinum singles, three platinum albums and five #1 albums. Their success has also translated strongly into Germany, where “The loneliest hour” reached #1 on the German Rock Radio Airplay Charts, while “The Game” entered at #2. With major shows and arena concerts in Sweden and a steadily growing fanbase across Germany and Europe, tAKiDA are now set to expand their international success even further.

Numbers combines tAKiDA’s unmistakable blend of huge melodies, emotional depth and distinctive rock guitars with a modern production. Tracks such as “In Your Bed”, “Emma” and “So Far Away” showcase different sides of the band: “In Your Bed” drives forward with infectious energy and an instantly memorable chorus, while “Emma” leans into atmosphere, emotional melodies and Robert Pettersson’s unmistakable voice. “So Far Away” brings a more powerful edge, combining driving guitars with a huge, anthemic chorus. Together, the songs represent a band continuing to evolve their established sound while staying true to their greatest strength: writing emotionally charged songs that connect on the radio and reach thousands of fans in a live setting.

With Numbers, tAKiDA will further cement their position as an international rock force and take the next decisive step in their ongoing success story.
